    • This is Quitting will help motivate and support youth and young adults to stop vaping. ​This texting program includes messages to show the real side of quitting, both the good and the bad, as well as evidence-based tips and strategies to quit and stay quit.

  • For parents of a young person who vapes: text QUIT to (202) 899-7550

    • Parents can receive text messages designed specifically for parents of vapers. 

  • CATCH stands for Coordinated Approach to Child Health

  • Two of the most important ways that CATCH creates behavior change are by enabling children to identify healthy foods, and by increasing the amount of moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) children engage in each day.

  • CATCH has also created the CATCH My Breath Vaping Prevention Program.

  • Addiction Center is a referral service that provides information about addiction treatment practitioners and facilities. They are able to help locate the closest recovery and treatment centers as well as provide information on addication.

  • Doctors Claim E-Cigarettes Cause Adolescents to Become Addicted to Nicotine:​​

    • Pediatrician, Dr. Kirsten Hawkins, "notes that she is seeing more patients between the ages of 12 and 20 who are 'juuling' regularly. One of her patients, a 12-year-old girl, became so addicted to nicotine through vaping that she switched to regular cigarettes and started smoking two packs every day."​
