FlySense® Helping Schools Combat Vaping
FlySense® vape detection devices to be installed in Cloquet High School. In an interview with Northern News Now, Cloquet High School Principal states that since the pandemic, vaping has significantly increased amongst Cloquet students. 20% of students have admitted to using a vape device, which is above average.
A student in the interview noted that vaping in the schools restrooms had gotten so intense that it made other students uncomfortable, even causing some to go to the local “Quik Trip” for bathroom usage.
Pat McKane – a representative of the American Lung Association has declared that the current surge in teen vaping is a health crisis, citing unprecedented levels of nicotine addiction.
